I know Remembrance Day is nearly over here but its still coming for some so decided to post this anyway..
One of our final WWII veterans at an ANZAC Day service on the Gold Coast last year overlayed with a shot of the Flame of Remembrance in Brisbane..

This is the two shots I used for the Remembrance Day shot. As you can see the flame isnt exactly easy to get at even without the crowds in the way. The veteran shot was a bit too busy even when I cropped it(elderly lady with large pink glasses etc).o I desaturated the bg before placing the flame over it and changing the opacity of that layer.
