On Monday 14th November 2016 the 7.8 magnitude Kaikoura earthquake devastated the region.
Rocks in the foreground are example of earthquake coastal uplift.|

First off, that you for the note. It was informative. This is a lovely picture. Sharp, good light and colors. The mountain the background look amazing. I really wish I can visit NZ some time in my life. It has been on my bucket list since I was a child. You just prove to me why it is on my bucket list.
