Awesome capture of the original light source and you know how much I like airplanes. I like the composition. Good dof with nice details and wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

A nice capture and subsequently a well thought entry to Friday's theme, Inaam!
The sharpness and POV are well done, and colors are natural.
Good control on exposure and DOF too.
Have a nice weekend.

Sun is of course our main light source... combination of aircraft and sun makes a good pair existing on the image.
Technically I would like to see the sun a different way and that you can achieved if you use much smaller aperture like f/18.
2.8 is wide open and it makes one big stain but that is OK - image fits the theme and is kind interesting.
Best regards - Tom:)

Taking into account the camera used, (The Canon digital IXUS 75) I think you've done a marvellous job in the shoot, Inaam.
It's very easy for everyone on the site who actually uses high spec and top of the range DSLR cameras to assume compact camera users have the same control and functionality as theirs.
I reckon by the time you switched the camera to manual, selected f:18, chose the ISO and shutter speed, the plane would have either arrived at it's overseas destination, or in this case, landed.
This little compact of yours has done a sterling job in both exposure and focus. There is a great amount of detail and sharp lines to the aircraft too.
Personally, I quite like the sunburst and lens flare, and your composition and framing of the aircraft in the frame is perfect.
Well done little compact camera user

The aircaft is well placed in the frame, it is showing movement. The sun bursting out in the corner is fitting right into the Friday's theme. Have a nice day.

A fine contre-jour capture of this plane passing just in front the Main Natural Light source, the Sun. Perfect light management and a lovely composition.
Well done for this rather original contribution to the theme.

I really like it, i like the effect, the way the light takes over the importance and meaning behind this image. Th eaddition and angle of plane added balance. tfs

Wow, and I thought you might have ruined the sensor of your camera but what a blindingly beautiful image. Very well done.
