The moon looks in this historical his day of the eclipse curiously.
The original composition in interesting colours and light,
and the black background underlines his shape magnificently.

Sorry to be so harsh but really I think your additions have ruined a great photo. The text and the garish ring all serve to detract from the beauty and wonder of a moon in eclipse, in my opinion this treatment really cheapens your otherwise great photo!
