Hi Ian, this is a lovely sunset shot... and I agree, the boat makes a perfect focal point in the foreground. there are also points of interest deeper into the shot though... the tiny people, the little huts, the sand bar, and of course that great sky. Well done. :)

A splendid sunset shot with a difference! I like the movement of the water around the boat! Great reddish cast with a marvelous reflection in the water. A dramatic sky and such a peaceful ambient.

Nice sunset. I loke the reflection of the sun in the water. The boat on the foreground brings a good depth in your picture.

Tremendous shot captured with slow shutter to create this beautiful effect,lovely sun set golden glowing light and the DOF is very good with good details of the colors and tonalities,always wanted to shoot slow shutter at the beach with element on FG to create depth but unfortunately no sea here:)

This is beautiful. I like your composition with the dramatic sky and the good use of the boat but altering the WB in this way works so well and gives us these wonderful tones. It would be interesting to see your original shot. Did you save it before changing the WB? Excellent shot, full of mood.

Another of your spectacular shots making excellent use of the light and colours.

IMO a few basic compositional rules have been neglected here but would have made the shot so much more powerful: less centered placement of the banca and the horizon, for a start!

Terrific subject though and a delightful image still.
