Matai Bay Horses
I jammed on the breaks and grabbed my camera when I saw these horses belonging to the local Maoris at Matai Bay on the Karikari Peninsula in Doubtless Bay in Northland, New Zealand.
Karikari is a long narrow piece of land, lined with beautiful beaches and bays, that reaches out into the Pacific Ocean.
Matai Bay is one of Northland's pure gems consisting of two crescent-shaped coves looking out to the Pacific Ocean. There is a camping ground popular with fishermen and holidaymakers with its safe bathing. |

nice photo
Kia ora Janice,
This is a wonderful capture of these horses a serene view, brightness and contrast are fine, a nice composition too, although a tighter crop (from the bottom) might even make this composition stronger. Just my five cents :-) Anyway a wonderful post my dear.

An interesting picture where we have more than a view. We feel the wind and the soft colours are in harmony with the season.
Kind regards
Jean
