hi ian. i always dream of going to ilocos to shoot those enormous windmills but i never got the chance. great view from your wide angle lens. great warm tone and a somewhat silhouette shot on the windmills.

This is by far one of the best images I have seen today. Love it. I would have still put the horizon up a little more. IMHO. The color and exposure made for a spectacular image.

This is exceptional! Excellent sunset. I love the way the reflections carried onto the beach! The windmills are a great touch as well. Everything is lined up perfectly.

What a lovely well executed shot Ian, Shooting into the sun is something a lot of people avoid but you do get some stunning results if it is metered correctly, as you have done here,perfect exposure and superb composition make this a wonderful capture ..

Hello Ian.It is always a pleasure to see your beautiful images.The golden tones here as well as the textures (of the sand especially) are awesome.It is a great moody picture full of emotions,tranquility and peace.I must agree though that I prefer the workshop of JimmyJimmy regarding the new composition using a bit more the rule of the thirds.The sharpening is vey well done.Nice clear and precise details in the sand compare to the waters (the vagues) which are in movement (motion)and of course are a bit blurred which is perfect.This was nicely executed as usual.Bravo!

Bonjour Ian,
Quelles magnifiques couleurs. J'aime beaucoup voir les éoliennes à l'infini. La règle des tiers n'est pas respectée et je croyais que ce n'était pas grave mais après avoir vu le ws de Jimmy, je m'aperçois que la perspective aurait été différente.
Quoi qu'il en soit le tout est bien réalisé.

Very nice exposure. I would crop a little at the top to get the horizon somewhat higher.

This is a wonderful photo of this sunrise.
Fantastic place, indeed! Very effective POV!
I like the perspective of the windmills towards the sun. The warm light gives a dreaming atmosphere and the exposure allowed you to capture the movement of waves so nicely.

I like how all your converging lines lead the eye to the centre of your image.I like the warm golden light you have achieved & the clarity of the electric windmills, foreground to background.Nice to view,the image tells its own story.

Hi Ian,
Beautiful golden tones and sunset light, I like those misty mountains, the reflected sun into the shining beach, the foamy waves and, of course, the surrealistic silhouettes of the windmills. The light is excellent and the vertical framing seems a good choice, but what impress me most is the atmosphere-a well captured moment between night and day, between modern technology and nature.
