[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Admittedly I'm not a flower person by any means, but who hasn't experimented with macro shots once and awhile? I spend all my time on TE, but occasionally I post the odd shot here on TL once in a while that doesn't fit on the other site.
This shot from back in 2004 when I was just starting off with my first digital SLR (Canon 300D) shooting with the basic 18-55mm kit lens.
If anyone can tell me what type of flower this is... I'll be sure to update the note.
Cheers!

Hi Daniel
beautiful colors an texture of the petals.
I like the POV you got and the crop of the "just the flower" ...
well done.
Taba
PS: I, as you, don't know much about the botanical world to try a name or species :(

Hello Daniel,
What a great macro of this lovely flower.
Captured with great colors and sharp details.
Well managed light and a nice shallow DOF coloured BG.
A really nice POV. Congrats and TFS.
Sorry, but i can't help you with the name of the flower... but it's a beautiful one.
Have a nice evening,
scubli
Hi Daniel
Dont know the name of the flower but I like it and your photo. Lovely colours and the blured background makes it stand out
Well Done
