[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Like Zandra, doing the Scavenger Hunt from TE, I end up with photos that really aren't appropiate there, but I like them anyway, so here is one of my yellow cars.
In Photoshop I increased the contrast a lot, added a B/W copy with noise on a new layer set to "Overlay" layer blending and adjusted saturation in the different color channels.

I like what high contrast has done here, it gives this photo an edge it wouldn't have otherwise; it draws the eye. But its not killed the photo, theres a bright sharp dynamism here which i like a lot. Great shot.

Very fine image - and I now realise - there's still have a long way to go for me ;-) - But I better study the manual to Paint shop pro.

modern, well cropped... this composition i would recognize among thousands.

Nice composition and great post-pro too.

This is a happenin' pic! I love the sense of motion and grooviness from your techniques. Fun stuff.

I like this image a lot torben..
Great texture.
A pice of art.
In fact i 'll poste some of a serie I took in that spirit a long time ago.. Taxis from NY..

Beautiful effective post processing - thanks for enumerating your steps so we can try them out. I love the colors too. The motion is also very suggestive.

I can't help but wonder how you got your 2 diagonal white stripes that make that photo work.
It's a mystery to me : we don't know exactly what they're supposed to represent but they're the backbone of that shot. It's pure aesthetical emotion, in fact I'm near to thinking that you simply added them in Pshop...

Did I mention Mention the 3 tones are good. Ok, tick, done...
Did I mention the grain was adequate. Ok, tick, done...
Did I mention the compo, blah blah blah, the usual compliments. Right, tick, done.

Now I can concentrate on the white stripes mystery.

Love the lines... the grain... and the modern look. Well seen
