[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The truck is red, it can move. In the foreground are traces in the dirt of that movement. To the left a pile of gravel that is more stationary, it wants to go nowhere but down. In the background old fortifications and trees, they've been there for a long time too.

A funny composition but it works. I think you saturated on purpose but went a little bit too far.

What are those red marks on the ground?

Seeing a TIR signed truck in a place like this with your mysterious crop makes me wonder what is going on. What are they bootlegging, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, immigrants, gravel?

And you are right about the will of gravel, one of my firmest beliefs in fact. Sort of makes my profession possible.

Good photo, Torben. I like the colors and details, composition it's very nice, too.

Well done

Oh Thanks for this one Torben - I like the "Track Earth" shot ;-)
I wonder how the red spots on the ground came there - and also the line behind the truck puzzles me.

This one reminds me of the "BMS-shot" I took the same day as the powerline. Better post them here.

the note sounds like poetry.
as for the picture...
both this and the previous one got me confused...
looking forward to seeing your unique compositions.

Very efficient composition with natural basic shapes : diagonals, trangles, squares... Très bien cadré. I believe the contrast has been pushed just a little too much.

Very quirky, Torben! I like it, because of the composition, but especially because of what this images actually "tells" us. Great note, too, by the way! There's an irony in the "Titan" on the truck and it's position! Thanks for a very thought-provoking post.

Strange photo, very strange. But- it works. Why?-I haven't a clue. But it draws one's attention, although to a specific location, I think not. It just is. And it's interesting, that about says it all. Good notes.

Great one torben.. Your composition is here, as usual, perfect..
