All the rules respected...a fine sharpness , good colors, it is limpid as the real...and it speaks about a desert, a loss...everything change with age...even when we think is under our controle...we have always a surprise.
A good photo. Simple and emotionaly efective.

A classical approach where this beautiful tree standing tall against the vast sky gives a wonderful feeling when seen for few seconds, Erik!

Great sharpness and well clarity where the addition of group of birds another piece of beauty to the scene.
Well kept light and exposure.

Bom dia Erik,

Where appreciate a lone tree in the midst of barren land I remember the loneliness of the human being, my own loneliness, always seeking to find in myself the best friend of my life in order to better support my existence. Because when we are alone with ourselves, all the loneliness ends and it becomes easier to find and understand the meaning of happiness.

Bonjour Erik,
L'arbre semble se pencher pour offrir ses branches aux oiseaux en quête de repos dans cette immensité ! Sans regarder où est prise la photo, j'aurais pensé à la Hesbaye : nos régions sont riches de surprises !
J'ai essayé une version en N/B (WS), mais j'ai un souci avec les coins supérieurs.

Cette photo continue la série "still standing" d'une manière différente mais logique.
La position de l'arbre m'a donné l'impression que la ligne d'horizon penchait, mais ce n'est qu'un effet d'optique, et en regardant mieux ce n'est pas à cause de l'arbre mais plutôt d'une ligne sur la terre qui perturbe agréablement la lecture de la ligne d'horizon.
Les oiseaux en plein vol sont un plus , ils sont juste assez loin pour les deviner et en même temps les voir.
Et ils donnent du dynamisme à cette nature "morte".
C'est du minimalisme réalisé avec soin et le résultat est très artistique.
Il y a arbre solitaire et arbre solitaire. Cette photo fait la différence.
J'ai regardé le ws, et j'aime bien aussi. C'est une autre atmosphère.
Bravo pour ce travail qui réunit les règles essentielles de la photographie.
