Hi Erik,
Good thing that will be entrusted with the viewer, she is going or turn back.
Very good reflections.
Regards Sandor

teresa

Hi Erik
nice 1/3 framing where you artistically shown her leg's reflection with intelligent use of light,a different composition but artistic one indeed.
Best Wishes

Boa noite Erik,
Charms me the use you make of the images as if they were half-words, something to discover. This is the case here. The title leads us to think that the return is to inside the house, but the position of the feet indicate otherwise, return to the outside and to light.
I think in the ambiguity of Hitchcock and the gothic novel.
Big picture, full of content, but still pure photography.
Compliments,
R.

Creative shot Erik. Nice lighting, depth and great reflection. Good composition and presentation. Well done! TFS, Lori

Erik, When I first saw this photo, I felt a sense of mystery. Why is she leaving, or returning?? One doesn't know by looking at the photo. I do think that I would have changed it to black and white though to give it that old "Hitchcock" (movie director from a while back..;D) air of mystery. I immediately thought of it in black and white when I first viewed it in the gallery. Lisa

I see it more like an escape but your title makes it even more interesting and thought provoking
Love the tilt, love the darkness
Great !!!

thanks,
v

I LIKE THIS PIC, THE CORRIDOR LEADS US DIRECTLY TO THE CHARACTER'S FEET ONLY TO DISCOVER THEN THE REFLECTION. THE LIGHT IS BEAUTIFUL, IN B&W IT WOULD HAVE GAINED A MISTERIOUS FEEL BUT IN DETRIMENT OF CONTRAST BETWEEN THE WARMTH OF THE LIGHT COMING FROM OUTSIDE AND THE DARKNESS INSIDE, SO I KEEP LOOKING AT THIS PIC WITHOUT FINDING SOMETHING TO CHANGE. LOVE THE "INCOMPLETE" IDEA THAT LET'S YOU THINKING WHERE THE CHARACTER IS RETURNING TO... OUTSIDE, INSIDE? TFS!
