Just a little play with blur tool of Photoscape, putting the funny-looking grazing cow in focus. The photo was taken in a small Carinthian village, unfortunately I forgot the name. :)

Nice idea Kristof - I think though you need to look at adjusting the edges of the blur tool for a more subtle effect as it's quite a brutal distinction between the sharply focused area and the blur..
Indeed a funny looking cow - made for the winters I guess!!
Cheers
David

Hello Kristof! Original idea and very original shot. Wonderful sharpness, wonderful blur, good contrast. Well done!

hello Kristof
how are you friend?
interesting framework, an uncommon way of pp work to drag the focus to the subject.
sharp subject with nice colours
fine light too

Hello Kristof,

It is good to see the boundaries being pushed in different directions. An interesting experiment which, for me, works well.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Kristof,

I must give you a credit for the original idea and new approach to PP work, but somehow this is not working for me (but that is only my opinion). I would use less intense blur to create softer passage between focused and unfocused part of the image.

Apart from that this is well taken and composed shot with nice textures, details and rich colours.

Have a nice day,

Stasa

hi Kristof,

I like the idea here, the sharp and blurr,
i think its a different and distinctive experiment..
all the focus is on the grazing cow, like a star:)
nice nature post, very natural indeed... and funny..

good day Kristof

Hi Kristof

Interesting pp work with the blur tool, although some people might think it looks a little too abrupt. I'd try experimenting with a much bigger feather. Tfs!

like the pp work you have given this Kristof always like to see poeple trying out something new so well done for being brave and getting a good result tfs

Hie Kristof,

you did a good job in 'focussing' the 'cow'? or is it a thin yak perhaps because of the furry body.

Anyway TFS,
Hong

Hi Kristof,
Very nice photo shot vith good focus and blur effect.TFS.

Hello Kristof,
It's time for a haircut it appears here for this Hippie of a cow. My first impression before reading your note was to squint my eyes as I viewed the image, then I realized that it was you and all those filters you so love to enjoy. The image may have been better viewed if the out of focus area is taken from a distance with smaller figures or grass as in this scene, as it will not take away from the initial subject you are showcasing...
A good post nonetheless...
Steve

Hi Kristof,
Pretty interesting idea, really changes the whole image and view. I do, however, agree with David (whiteknight) about the sharp to soft transition.
Next time a bit easier on the edges and this would really be fun.
Good play and experiment though, good for the brain and for those of us to look and think.
Take care,
Wilt

Hi Kristof,
How are you? This is a nice spot focus on the grazing cow. For me it works. Good natural colors, bravo for your uniqueness in this post. TFS Julie
