This is a view from the top of Grábrók Crater, a big volcanic crater in Western-Iceland. The weather was cloudy all day, but this gave me a perfect opportunity to take a dramatic picture of the landscape.

Bonjour Kristof.
Très bonne dimension donné à cette image par un format allongé.
L’éloignement de tout est bien intégré dans ce cadrage.
Félicitation.
Bonne journée.
Urs

Hi Kristof
What a nice panaromic view
Great perspective
Thanks

Hi Kristof,
Excellent panorama, the whole area looks very big and secluded. Would love to own a property there, would be so peaceful. Looks like you had a perfect vantage point to take this from, anyone would swear that you were hand-gliding! :). Very nice natural colours also.

TFS,
Scott.

Nice view, great to use the panoramic format too.. Great scenery.

David

Hello Kristof
This is an interesting scene on a little village in Iceland, surrounded by the barren-looking countryside.
Thank you for sharing
Janice

Hi Kristof,

what a great view on this crater! You have certainly chosen a good POV to take this image. I love the contrast between the sky and the ground. Excellent...and the colours are so clear and natural. Really well done.

Have a nice week,

Hi Kristof,

Fantastic panorama and taken from an excellent viewpoint. The dramatic clouds add to the mood of isolation for the small village below. I like how the road to the left goes off into infinity.

TFS.

Regards,
Werner

hello Kristof
very nice view my friend
great capture , excellent perspective and POV
best regards

Hello Kristof,
Indeed this is a massive crater! It appesars to be nearly the size of a super volcano at one time in its historied past. Through time most of the features have softened, but the rock formation-bulge that still is evident at the bottom of the image is a dead giveaway that it was a volcano.
Is that a geothermal plant towards the center of the image?
Good capture...
Steve
