Hi, and you do. I like old pieces of instruments and furniture. the B&W is perfect for it. I like the angle you chose and the reflexation of the floor on it. I provides contrast and simetry.Good eye!
Regards
Aran

Hoi Meity,
Heel mooi!!
Mijn eerste twee punten voor jou.
Groet,
Joop.

Meity, I like the b/w quality of this. However, I don't get the impression you are trying to convey. It is difficult to sum up such a broad subject in a singular image, though I do see this as part of a series. Also, the scale itself does not mean anything to the average person who knows nothing about scales. That could be a scale in a butcher shop for all I know. It doesn't tell me that we are in a kitchen and that it is an old-fashioned scale in an old-fashioned kitchen. Try to include more information. Assume that we have no idea what a kitchen of this looks like.

I believe you do a good job of capturing the look you are trying for. I like the framing, it's very original and it's close up. You are going more for a feeling than a shot of a scale. Good job, thanks for sharing with us.
