[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) made one her infrequent visits to the port of Liverpool last week and thousands of people headed to the Pier Head on Liverpool's famous waterfront to catch a close-up view of her there.

In fact she was docked so "close-up" to the river bank it was difficult to get a satisfactory picture of her in her magnificent entirety from most of the available dockside vantage points. I managed this, not entirely satisfactory picture, from the Mersey Ferry landing stage, and after a long wait, was able to board the ferry and take several pictures showing more of this beautiful and historic ship (Please see additional picture next).

The usual adjustments to contrast, colour balance and saturation. Cropped slightly.
