Had you been the chief jailer in around 1400, this is the sort of house and courtyard you would enjoy (without plastic seats). This is adjacent to the famous Rothenburg jail museum. Definitely better to be the jail-keeper rather than a prisoner.

Murray,
The point of view of the picture shows the roof very massive and not symmetric as well. The roof looks like the roofs than we can find in Strasbourg my previous home town.

very interesting building with attractive warm colors. A very nice luxury house to live in but I'm still not sure if I wanted to take that job (jail keeper)! :D thanks for sharing.

Hi Murray,
Interesting capture of this ancient architecture! In particular I notice the roof appearantly covering three stories...
Good point of view and a pleasant composition, good colours and details!
Greetings,

Bonsoir.
Pourquoi cette différence de couleur au niveau du toit?
Le batiment semble vraiment massif... mais bon, c'est effectivement bien le symbole d'un chef de contrée...

Hi Murray,
Great shot of this historical building. Sharp and clear. Nicely captured and well composed. Sun seems to be very bright at time picture was taken.

I see you have been on the road too.
