We had a very pleasant vacation in northern Italy this autumn. Took a lot of pictures I will be posting for quite some time. (37 photos)
We traveled to Tuscany, Venice, and Lombardy. I was trying to combine two of my favorite hobbies... traveling and photography. It is a bit more than a challenge than it seems, because the primary purpose was vacation with the kids, so it takes a bit of time away to shoot. (Mostly that just hurries the shots, but it also limited most of my photographic time to mid-day, where the summer sun is least dramatic and the most harsh). (17 photos)
This is my first Travelogue. I am just back from a trip to Sicily. I didn't take my trusty Canon but instead used a Panasonic Camera. I hope you like the images. It was a lovely trip (4 photos)
I went island hopping in Venice.
My story can be found in every picture included in this travelogue. In the mean time, I will let my good 'ol friend Encarta tell you about the interesting places in Venice.
Have a good day!

My second visit to Italy covered more well-known places that one should not miss: Rome, Venice and Milan. I had lots of impressions. It is just impossible to see everything during one visit and I felt like going there again and again, especially with my love to art.
I remember what I was doing there day by day.
I have more photos of this visit in TrekEarth.com travelogue - the same username. (8 photos)
I fell in love with this country at once and, I hope, forever. Everything is beautiful there: people, architecture, climate, weather, music, landscapes, food - just everything, in my opinion. This was my first visit and it happened so, that I was able to go there again in two months! During those two months I started to learn the language and was able to practice it a little during my next visit, but about it - in my next travelogue!..
I have more photos of this trip in TrekEarth.com travelogue, the username is the same. (6 photos)
