Thanks Alban for the critique, I appreciate this.
First thing first, this is not an heavy concrete block that the snowman is sitting on but stone that the rail that surround the palace is made of. The same stone that is use for the palace walls.
Also, my intention wasn't to be humurous nor surreal, but I was merely trying to depict the melting of the snow that only left this litlle buddy (thelast picture for my snow serie). And so the Snowman has to fit the shot since this a shot about the snowman and not about the Louvre palace that is, in this shot, only a background to the main subject the Snowman.
