Yes, it is a self-portrait, some kind of silenced dialogue with the character of the girl on the hyper-realistic photo of Gottfried Helnwein, dedicated to fascism in Austria. His paintings was exhibited in the exhibition called - Between Innocence and Evil. My dialogue with the character on one of his paintings actually ends in silence, as most characters in the films of Ingmar Bergman end - with silence. That is the connection I have seen between the two artists.The key worda are - identification, empathy (with the victims of fascism) and... silence.
