Thank you, Ron, for your kind remarks about this one. It's not my best as normally I've uploaded panorama pictures as a "stitch" of several images but this was taken from just one single image.

I really did this as I realised (as you did too) that Joy was struggling with uploading a larger, panoramic picture. But then, once I'd uploaded this one, I took a look back at her page and - Hey Presto! - she's uploaded an absolute stunner - far, far better than mine! Thank you too for all the advice you gave her - it's obviously paid off!

About those maps - they are just Google maps I think, so fairly recent - probably in the past two or three years. I was first introduced to those by Gunnar (saxo042) and I find the link very useful. In fact, if you're interested, you can just open the link and search for a place in the search box at bottom left. Or, if you already know the co-ordinates, you can enter them in the box at bottom right. Remember though, that once you've found your place and got the red cross exactly where you want it, you must click on "Copy the map centre to the address line" so that when you copy the "url" it takes anyone looking at it to the right location - if you see what I mean!

In fact, have a little look at a map of Surrey, B.C. here and have a drive around! Then you can have a play around searching for other places to look at. Have fun! :o)

Kindest Regards,

John.
