It was spotlessly clean when I was there in August. No graffiti in sight, either. In Carnarvon Gorge, Qld, where I visited in 1980, & again in 1981, they now have 24 hour video surveillance to monitor any damage to the aboriginal artwork, which is thousands of years old, & irreplaceable. Morons scratch it with their car keys or scrawl 'John was here' across it, if given the chance. It was never like that when I was there in 1980. A fence had appeared restricting public access in 1981. But I walked around it to get a better photo without touching the cave wall or defacing it in any way. It's partly open air in the side of a cliff too, so not like the Lascaux Caves in France. Australia
