And as you know Chch is a LONG way from us up here and we've felt nothing. (762kms / 473 miles distance apart)
But the fault line under Chch - no one knew it was there until last Saturday...
Our worry would be when the volcanoes (remember we have 49 in Akld) start smoking again...
But I have felt sad for all those in Chch - especially our little TL family - Tracey, Danni and Logan. We hear terrible stories of the damages dome to the properties, but apparently 78% of all the buildings are all OK. It's the aftershocks that are causing so much fear, and they aren't stopping yet - there are a lot of upset and worried people down there. And I think it will take a long time for it to settle down again
