Sorry I am slow in getting back to you - we have been caring for our son who had his gaul bladder removed.
Antelope Canyon is on Indian land outside of Page Arizona. They run the tours into the slot canyon. The tour group that I went in with provides small group photography tours with guides that know the best locations and lighting. Early October should work. I you would like the name to the tour provider let me know.

Even with the small group you still are rushed - every exposure is a long tripod exposure. If I had it to do over again I would have made reservation on two days. I would have like to go back in the next day after I had look at my images and and camera settings.

There is a second slot canyon also on Indian land rigt across the road that does not require resurvations. You pay at the entrance and wonder on your own. There is some climbing to get inside.

I am going back again sometime. An amazing experience.

Hope this helps.
