Just curious: Why no vinyl glove.
I usually do take time to slip on a glove Diane but this calving happened during milking hours and was too busy running back and forth between the calving pen and the milking parlor to go for a new set of gloves. The gloves we use are not like the nursing gloves you see in hospitals; ours go right up the the shoulder because sometimes we have to go deep within the cow to twist the calf around if it is coming out upside down. |
