Thank you for your kind comment, yes, these little guys always look so happy, and on this occasion he was very happy to have so much (nice warm) water to swim around in instead of just a little water bowl.
Now for the excuses! I agree about the cork bark in the background being distracting and removed it shortly after (have just posted on with the cork bark removed as a workshop if you want to have a look). Unfortunately we need something there to hide the rim of the water tray which is black plastic so I tried it with just moss draped on it which I prefer - although the client I was working with that day preferred the cork bark. I guess you could call this set up a "work in progress" - we need a longer tray, probably around 4 feet long, so you can shoot almost flat along the water and still isolate the frog from the edge of the tray as well as maybe filling up the tray almost to the brim (I worry about so much water and all those electric cables under it all!)
