This female walnut tree stands by the Liz River in Cortes-Leiria (the land of poets), and there happens to be a lovely B&B style resort (Casa da Nora) just by the river, where the old olive oil press/mill stood 50 years ago...so, grab your nutcracker and discover my little corner of the world!
It's really a lovely spot! In winter there's a beautiful village nearby, called Fontes, and that's where the Liz River originates, in Portuguese it's called "Nascente do Liz"
