Hi Ron,
We have two towns about 15 miles away with gas stations, so it's not too bad. The children are bussed to school within 10 miles.
We do have a small corner grocery store and another family store.
We also have a gun shop, and satellite library and a very tiny post office for the mail. My wife and I like it here very much...it is much quieter than where we were 5 years ago. Most of the noise at night is the sound of crickets and the occasional train whistle as it goes through town.
Can't complain, the people are very friendly and welcomed us outsiders when we moved in.

Regards,
Bill
