Hi Ron,
It is taken in a warehouse, for want of a better word, where I take my bikes for the yearly test, or MOT. Last time I paid them a visit I asked if I could take some photo's and they gave me access all areas! The place has about 50 old bikes in various states of repair.....these have not been touched for many a year as they only add parts when one falls out of the sky..... they have four bikes up on work benches, one a Sunbeam S8, which have all been there for in the same state for the past five years that I know of! The chief mechanic Jimmy, a sprightly 91 year old, still rides regularly and owns 3 bikes Norton flat tank, BSA and a CZ - he prefers the CZ now as it is easier to start :)

I decided to keep this pic with a deep DoF as I think the background busyness adds to the shot - please feel free to disagree, to me it feels like the bike is being created from all the pipes and parts behind it.

Hope you are well.

Best wishes

Hi Bri,your artistic talent outbids my tidy mind,I still think the background is too busy for the motorbike, but I understand better now,why you decided to have them that prominent.they sure add to the shops atmosphere.I think you may well win the arguement.

All is well, thanks for asking, hoping to head off early next week, to Eastern Washinton to the Palouse, a great area for landscape photography.

Best Wishes
