(154) [2004-04-05 17:31:01] [1] | I wanted to burn out details of the background to put even more emphasis on the red disc.
I made a copy of the layer and desaturated it with Channel Mixer adjusting the red channel very dark and the green and blue channels very light. Then I chose "Soft Light" as layer blending mode. I made another copy of the desaturated layer and changed the layer blending mode for this layer to "Overlay".
