Hi Adrian. Welcome to TL. I guess you stay up late too. I don`t pay much attention to flower shots on TE, not what I am looking for. But here is fine. This is lovely. The way the light shines through the petals is so nice. Great DOF and interesting dark background.

I love how you captured this one Adrian. The slightly dark background really accents the flower. I like the nice simple frame and the image is very sharp. Nicely done.

I am glad you posted this shot of the Lady Slipper as it is one of the treasured wildlife flowers I seek out in the forest. It is so precious here because they are so hard to find in the wild now.The variety you present is indeed very attractive and I like how you have balanced the light and shade portions of the bloom.Well done Adrian.

You've got some shadows bouncing around here (from having the light come from the side), that give depth to the flower, and, to me, add interest. I like the effect.

Dark background with light illuminating it, as if from within.A different perspective, shot taken from below.I would call this creative, and no wonder you didn't post it at TE. Still why not? There's enough geographic information in your note to tell us what it is and where to see it.
