Hi Marius,
The wideness of the river is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the Great White Pelican. The sunrise is giving nice colors to the sky. Have a nice day.

Beautiful setting. I would have been tempted to crop a little off the left and include the full sun (there is a little clipped off the top). It is good that there is some detail to be seen on the pelican and is not a silhouette. I prepared a workshop to show what I meant by the left hand crop.
