[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hot summer days are still far away, but when they arrive it is always nice to have a shady spot in the garden to take refuge from the heat and feel the refreshing relief of cool blue. This is part of our garden which gets ample sunlight in the morning and plenty of shade in the afternoon. These campanulas and astibles are growing on a steep embankment just beside our garden bench for resting.
I hope this blends with the attractive blues that Adam selected for TL's colour scheme.

This looks like such a lovely quiet spot. I'm so glad that I went to your home pages and learned a little more about the photos you post, about your gardens, about the photographer. (Thanks for the flowers' names here) I think these blues are a little too cheery and bright for Adam's scheme, but a very nice addition to his growing garden of photos. Looking forward to more of yours...

A very beautiful picture Derek. The frame matches the garden extremely well. The saturation of the blues and pink are great. Well done.

The perspective is so natural. I imagine a my head laid back on a lawn chair and gazing into the garden. Derek could you give us a quick lesson on framing as you have done for this image? It works well.

Being slightly colorblind, blue is one of the colors that sticks out to me the most. These flowers seem to leap out of the photo! I find the left side of the image more engaging than the rest, perhaps because of the gentle tones and light there.

Beautiful, Derek. So simple, but very well captured, and so colorfull. I like the overexposed area on th upper corner. Nice shot.

This goes perfectly with the blues of TL! Lovely atmosphere, colours and contrast are nice, good composition!

Well done!

Wonderful colours, have you done something to make the blue more blue? Amazing colour of a flower, though. (I am referring to the flowers on the left!). I also like that the flowers are not straight up in the picture - it makes it more vivid.

I got the blues... ;-)
Just kidding.

Wonderful and quiet natural place. Interesting framing, intentionally tilting. A slight over exposure on the right, but this could also express the contrast between the harsh sun and the pleasure of laying in the shadow...

Very nice colors. With these blues around you you won't get the blues but you'll be in the mood.

This is lovely. Veronica persica would be a nice groundcover with those.

Just beautiful

It blends well, and is so pretty with it's diagonal lines of color. Very pretty variety of flowers that look well together.

Nice colours and nice picture to watch.
