|Took this photo from the window of my room, at the 3rd floor of my digs. The bird is an Indian Bulbul perching on a Bombax ceiba (Indian name- Simal) tree.Common names for Bombax ceiba - a member of the Malvaceae (also placed in the Bombacaceae) - include Indian Kapok & also the Red Cotton Tree.|

Not a bad shot, but I think it could have been a little better. The bird is a little central, so the photo's not as dynamic as it could have been. If the bird was placed on one of the line of thirds, it would improve the composition and interest. I do wonder why you chose an ISO of 1000 though.
Love the shallow depth of field and the catchlight in the eye.
The Bulbul has been nicel enhanced by the blurry BG and it is well detailed. I agree it is too centrally placed none the less an interesting presentation.
Bom dia Kapil.
Beautiful presentation. I believe that you are a comer, but not a beginner in photography.
For that reason I give you welcome. We are all thirsty for new values.
Have a nice WE.
