|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Black Kite - Milvus migrans - taken at one of our studio sessions at Liberty's Owl, Raptor And Reptile Centre last month. "Robin" is one of our display birds who has spent all summer flying for the crowds but now winter is here he will be fed up with good food and will moult out his feathers to make sure that he looks his best for next years season.|
Taken with an one Elinchrom 400BX flash head almost directly in front of his beak to the left of the picture and one behind and to the right just to throw a little on the shoulders.
Lights set to ISO 100, F8 @ 1/125 using a flash meter, camera set to manual and those setting dialed in.

I can't believe that this shot has had 42 views and nobody as commented, the quality here is outstanding, excellent lighting, focus and a perfect BG - shame on you -the silent 42.
This is worthy of being published in a nature book. Hope you are not discouraged by the silent majority
I can only re-iterate what Jack has said. I've said it before, you really know what you are doing and this is an absolute pleasure to view. We can all learn from a photo like this. Please keep posting because I enjoy looking so much.
