Good experimental shot. But the focused one is lacking details at some areas. Good job.
I love this ... the movement adds life and bustle to the street scene which really tells the story. Personally I think that if it were razor sharp on the man and cart it would look a bit too cut and paste where as here you get a great sense of movement.
Your panning has worked very well in this street scene which shows movement and still gives details of the vendor and his goods.
