Lots of detail. I like the monochromatic feel and the softness you reflect here.
I tried to be clever and did a workshop to see what a 'harder' look will be like. I've posted the result as a workshop.
I don't see heatwave, I see cool softness. Love the sharpness of the subject which gradually softens towards the edges of the image.
Bonjour Daisy,a good point of view with the flower heads unusually pointing downwards, and yet it suits the subject.
The softness and dry appearance comes across very well.
I like the neutral surround.
