[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
'Iris', a word that has many meanings.

A word for a part of the eye; a feminine given name; a genus of flowering plants; a genus of praying mantis, AND Iris was the name of the Greek goddess of the rainbow.

Taken in the gardens at Saltram house, a National Trust property close to where I live. There were so many different irises in flower the day that we visited, that 'Rainbow' is the perfect adjective for their display!

Hi Jean

Beautiful delicate colours. I do think the path on the right could have been left out.

Hi Jean,
The delicate natural beauty of this iris is very well portrayed in this sharp and well detailed presentation. the contrast to the BG has given a neat 3D effect.

Boa tarde Jean,
This is one of your more delicate and magnificent shots of flowers.
You could have cloned the unpleasant side existence of the sidewalk parties.
I like it.
