|Often times we are too tied up with life's stresses, downs and misfortunes that we do not take time to have our cake and eat it too. |
What I am trying to work more on during this new year is the fact that yes, life is hard and does indeed disappoint more often than excite, no matter how positive one may be; we still must take time to be thankful and indulge in even the smallest of things in order to put a shine of light on an otherwise dull or gloomy day.
This white chocolate cheesecake with raspberry drizzle may indeed be large in terms of unwanted calories consumed, but it is small in terms of the little joys a day can bring.
Our life is in our own hands for the most part. When things go out of our own hands, we must learn to accept it, not fight it, and move on, because whether you like it or not, time is not waiting on us, it's moving...might as well move along with it.
We must all try to share more kindness and sweetness and avoid the bitterness.

Hi, Melody. Looks awfully sweet to me and I'm tempted to eat it. From a photographic point of view I like the arrangement, good point of view and exposure. The chocolate dripping to make an abstract pattern. Indeed a sweet composition.
Note: thanks for the inspiring words.
you make me Hungry !
love the angle and POV.
i really like o see the red in the plate
A good idea but, and this is only my opinion, the image seems a little flat. The ice cream is too close to the top edge.
