Gerbera (/ˈdʒɜrbərə/ or /ˈɡɜrbərə/) L. is a genus of plants in the (daisy family). It was named in honour of German botanist and medical doctor Traugott Gerber[3] | (1710-1743) who travelled extensively in Russia and was a friend of Carolus Linnaeus.[4]

Gerbera is native to tropical regions of South America, Africa and Asia. The first scientific description of a Gerbera was made by J.D. Hooker in Curtis's Botanical Magazine in 1889 when he described Gerbera jamesonii, a South African species also known as Transvaal daisy or Barberton Daisy. Gerbera is also commonly known as the African Daisy.

Hi Roberto

Please understand that this is my opinion only and not meant to offend. I'm sure many others will disagree with me.

For me, the photo lacks a little of the wow factor. I think its a little flat and could benefit from some pp work. Also, I think the focus or depth of field is a little off. The outer edges of the petals on the right are in focus, but, to my old eyes, the centre of that flower is a little blurred. Personally, I also think the flowers need a little room around them.

Hi,

Its a nice work but it would be more effective if the second flower is also into the focus.

Hi

Yes, as Bob has stated, this lacks a little something.
The idea is perfect with these blooms although you haven't got the lead flower at its most crispness.
Great framing btw.
