|This jewel of inflorescence has a complicated name, "Lagerstroemia indica".|
Already here in Brazil where it is very popular and is called "doting" because graces the summer when is almost entirely pink.

I don't know, but I want so tell you my hyphotesis on the name:
I think it was Mr. Lagerstrom, who discovered this flower as a new spiecis.
It's a Swedish name. I think it's Magnus Lagerstrom.
