[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of several photographs a friend asked me to take of his classic 1971 MG BGT.

This photograph was the result of 5 separate shots taken in succession from a tripod – one correctly exposed, two overexposed (+0.7 EV & +1.3 EV), and two underexposed (-0.7 EV & -1.3 EV). The shots were tone mapped post capture using Photomax Pro in order to produce one final image. The lighting was extremely harsh and bright that particular day, and as a result the reference exposed image showed little detail in the dark bodied car. Subtle use of tone mapping revealed details and reflections in the bodywork normally only visible to the human eye under such intense lighting.

Use of a wide angle lens was made in order emphasize perspective.

Excellent low point of view which adds to the impact of the subject. I like the angle of the shot and the sky which adds to the overall interest.

Hi Robert,
A good use of HDR in my opinion.
Great angle and beautiful car.
There are some areas of higher luminosity on the bottom which are quite visible though.
