[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We now have two of the young Butcher birds stopping by unannounced.. This time they decided to drop in for a late breakfast. They dont hang around all the time as we only ever give them a couple of small lumps of meat and let them go back to chasing their food like they're supposed to, when they arent feeling so lazy..One has even decided to take the food from your hand as long as you stay still. They are a nuisance around caged birds though and we have a cockateil in the garage that they keep upsetting..Feeding them in the backyard was the easiest way to keep them from flying in there.

Hi Fiona,
Nice sharp photo, lovely soft bokeh, and the bird is beautiful of course :)

Hi Fiona
Wow. What can I say? Excellent capture, good focus, good exposure, excellent shallow depth of field, nice catchlight in the eye, good composition. You seem to have caught his cheeky character very well. Maybe, just maybe, the white patch just to the right of his tail could have been removed. But that's being pedantic. One to be proud of.

Hi, Fiona, this is a very nice photograph of this beautiful bird with excellent clarity, depth of field and exquisite colors. Thank you for the informative note. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Fiona
The bird is not cute, but is well framed and the sharpness is excellent. Great shot.
