In Reality.....whats real

We see something that's real, but in reality, is it?

This is a view across Haldon Forest near Exeter.
Its a lush forest, very popular for walkers and cyclists, picnics and explorers.

I'll post the original image in Workshop later today to show the extent of real and reality regarding this view.

Numerous filters and tweaking of multiplying layers has produced this one.

Hi Steve, lots of layers here; I like the way that the land is banded in very subtle colours beyond the dark silhouetted trees.
Interesting colours in the sky, and it looks as if rain is falling too from out of those dark clouds.
Neat presentation.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Yes, Steve, whats real.
"la vida es sueño" was said Calderon de la Barca.
Now you makes realities and subtles images.
I do like this one.

Bonjour Steve,

Nice composition in an almost panoramic format. The dark exposure suggest it was late at night. Well done and TFS

Excellent pp work, I saw the original, the result is so beautiful.
Superb atmosphere, tones, lighting and contrast are well managed.

Ola Steve
I like the emotional result of tones and colors.
Um abraço

Hi Steve, Well created nature scenery with layers and filters. The silhouette in the FG gives mysterious mood to the composition whereas the heavy clouds add dynamic feel to the rest. I like how the hues are assisting each other to form this beautiful image. Best regards

They used to say that the camera doesn't lie!!! Maybe its the pp work that lies. You have certainly transformed a mundane shot into an interesting one. I thought it might have been taken at night. Nice job
