[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sometimes when it is especially cold we can be deceived by the sunshine and the beauty outside. This was the case at Elkhorn Resort Manitoba. There is a conference centre and also separate chalets shown in the picture. It was nice to go for a short walk walk but also nice to ger back into our room with the log fire.

Great balance, David, amazing lightness/shadows and good use of low POV.
Pretty entry to weeks theme.

Great shot. The lighting is very well done.

Hi David,
This is an excellent image with this freezing presentation. Crispy clear with sharp details, well captured and a great entry for the theme.

Hi David, I like the natural color of the snow & how it is quite thick on the braches of the foreground tree, no doubt that it was cold, I wondered if a little smoke from the interior log fire coming out of the chimneys, may have added to the "so cold feeling?"

I know it is very cold winter in Manitoba, but the chalets seem very warm. Belle photo.

Hi David,
