[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have long admired the artists who could paint a still life.So this is my tribute to those artists with a somewhat traditional still life.

I tried lots of arrangements;lots of different objects; lots of different camera settings and this is the one that I quite liked.
The only light source was from behind me.There was a window to my left but I had pulled down the blind, as I wanted as soft a light as possible.

Thanks for looking.

Your choice of geometric shapes, blend so well together Jean, you have captured their colour so naturally, & with sharp clear details. A perfect choice for this weeks theme.
I hope that you have not been in any danger from the flooding that I've heard is hitting your area of England,& hope that the worst of the storm is over by now?

Best Regards

Hi Jean, All these items in the image co-ordinated very well. The colours blended smoothly under the window light. Wonderful composed painting. Great contribution for Friday Theme 'Still Life'.

A good mix of still life items Jean.
Those mini bottles remind me of when I first dug our allotment ans was forever finding them.

Nice arrangement, good planning and well executed. A fitting tribute to the still life artists you admire. Good contribution.
