Hello Jack, the beautiful light of the setting sun adds a glow to the colours and textures of the tree trunk.
A good tight crop with a lovely bokeh which puts the tree in context.

If Im not mistaken, these trees are nicknamed as "The Widow Makes" as they break with little warning or sound with disasterous effect.

I like the different colours as the bark peels off.
