I remember this day clearly as needed to sweep clean my head of thoughts, my mood was way low but the day brought freshness and clarity

Trying to imagine this in color--I like the B&W better especially the great contrast. Very well done, tfs.

Hi Steve, this looks like THE place for blowing away any cobwebs!
You make good use of the people in the far distance as a focal point.
Good range of tones which highlight the variety of textures.
Best wishes Jean.

The cliffs are simply beautiful and the BW version creates a mysterious atmosphere

Hi Steve,

This is going well into the moodiness theme. A person on the beach must feel the quietness of the place and enjoy it. The capture of the power of the is an extra to the scene. The distance between the beach and the horizon is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the cliffs. Have a nice day.

Hi Steve,
Extreme beauty in this landscape shot!
Great B&W work with excellent contrasts.
A glorious composition.
Just marvelous!
Regards,

Francis Xavier

Hello Steve

What pp work did you do if any? I like the full on drama of the image. Life in the far off figures, life in the churning sea, life in the clouds, and life with that single road. Nicely done. I would hang this image for sure. If you did do pp work, your vision resulted in mood for sure. nicely done. The best image in this weeks theme

Hello Steve,
This looks like a HD image, you have really caught the mood here.
Very good tones, the range between light and dark is just about perfect.

Hi Steve, I like the way the breakers draw you straight along the beach and all the shadows across the sand.Wouldnt look the same in colour. Fiona

Ok Ok you know I like your work.
This however...
bloody excellent, I would like to know what you did with this to get it's effect though, cause I can see some burned in areas.
Tonal differences are fantastic in this image.
Well done
Clint

This is a great land / sea / sky scape picture in one - perfectly suited to monotone.

Would this be the result of using a red filter and / or the application of HDR processing?

Absolutely perfect, beautiful pespective, beautiful light. A beautiful B & W

All is perfect here Steve. A wonderful place, thanks a lot for your way to see the things....and to share it with us...
