I thought this landscape, with the Grand Tetons in the background, the Lone tree & grasses in the foreground & that sky above them ,should make for a good visual composition.

Bom dia Ron,
This scene gains a lot in BW.
It is an excellent composition for my visual pleasure.
Now, enough talk, as I contemplate this beautiful and unforgettable photo.

I do like the venue on offer here, your skyline id tremendous, so too is the active sky.
I think I would have liked the foreground a little lighter though.
Will try a WS on this and see if I can achieve what I'm on about.

Hello Ronald, an interesting use of b/w, which actually creates impact and drama.Very good DoF.
Did you add a vignette?
Tfs, regards Jean.

Beautiful BW photo, excellent atmosphere created by the light, very well done

Hello Ron

No one can see these mountains and be affected in one way or another. I see you were also. Love the shot. IMHO I might have had the tree more to the right in the POV. Still, nothing but drama and study in your image. very nice

Beautiful scenery. It seems to be an old engarving.

Hi Ron..nice black and white shot...excellent tones and light...well done.

Hi Ron, I like the lone tree and the line of mountains in the bg. The sun must have been having a good fight over the sky with those clouds.Love the light coming from the back of the clouds. Fiona
