[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A few weeks ago at the zoo I seemed to be connected to the animals more than usual. In this case I was about 50 feet from this tiger and her cub when the cub was making direct eye contact.

When I go to the zoo I use a 200 mm lens for everything, even the grand kids. The fixed 200 is light enough to carry all day and sharp enough to get great shots.

Sometimes I think of thinks that the beast when that connection is produced and you set and empathy. What I see is always curiosity.

Hello Roger, the sharp focus of this portrait of the tigers is excellent.
I like the way that the cub is looking directly at you.
There is the all important catchlight in their eyes.
